High Voltage Outdoor Porcelain Termination 66kV–252kV

Product Overview

Richon Outdoor Porcelain Termination is designed for high‑voltage power cable systems from 66kV to 252kV. The termination combines a high‑strength porcelain insulator with advanced stress control technology to ensure stable electrical performance and long‑term reliability in outdoor environments.

The porcelain housing offers excellent resistance to weathering, electrical tracking, electrochemical corrosion, and moisture penetration. Together with an EPDM stress cone and multilayer sealing structure, the termination provides reliable protection for high‑voltage cable systems in demanding service conditions.

The product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations and operates reliably in ambient temperatures from –50°C to +50°C at installation altitudes up to 4000 m.

Voltage and Cable Range

Rated Voltage Applicable Cable Cross Section
72.5 kV 120 – 1600 mm²
126 kV 240 – 1600 mm²
145 kV 240 – 1600 mm²
252 kV 400 – 2500 mm²

Structural Design

The stress cone is manufactured from imported EPDM rubber using injection molding technology and secured by a spring cone carrier. This structure compensates for mechanical relaxation due to ageing and ensures long‑term electrical stability.

The porcelain insulator is produced from high‑strength inorganic materials providing excellent resistance to weathering, electrical tracking, electrochemical erosion, and moisture penetration. A multi‑layer sealing system prevents moisture ingress and oil leakage during long‑term operation.

Installation Conditions

Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations with operating temperatures between –50°C and +50°C and installation altitudes up to 4000 meters. The termination is designed for environments with pollution class IV.

Standards and Testing

The product design and performance comply with international and national standards including IEC 62067 and GB/T 18890.
