Pipeline Anti-corrosion Heat Shrinkable Sleeve

Product Overview

Richon Pipeline Anti-corrosion Heat Shrinkable Sleeve is a heat‑shrinkable pipeline protection system designed to provide long‑term corrosion protection for steel, metal, and plastic pipelines. The sleeve consists of a flexible radiation cross‑linked polyethylene backing combined with a high‑performance hot‑melt adhesive layer that bonds tightly to the pipe surface after heating.

The sleeve shrinks uniformly around the pipeline during installation, forming a seamless protective coating that resists moisture penetration, mechanical damage, and chemical attack. The system is widely used for corrosion protection of pipelines operating up to 60°C and is suitable for both new pipeline construction and pipeline maintenance or repair.

Richon pipeline sleeves can be applied as a 2‑layer or 3‑layer sleeve system, with or without epoxy primer depending on project requirements. The sleeves can also be supplied in bulk rolls or pre‑cut sizes for faster installation in field applications.

Installation Method

  1. Clean and prepare the pipeline surface before installation.
  2. Position the heat shrink sleeve around the pipeline joint or repair area.
  3. Apply heat evenly along the sleeve using a suitable heat source.
  4. Allow the sleeve to shrink tightly around the pipeline while adhesive flows to seal the surface.
  5. Ensure both ends of the sleeve form complete seals against the pipe coating.
