Installation Method
- Apply the tape in half-lapped layers with minimal tension.
- Ensure the silver-grey side faces outward during installation.
- Maintain an elongation rate not exceeding 10% during wrapping.
- Wrap the tape around the cable shielding break or termination area.
- After installation, press the wrapped tape firmly by hand to ensure close adhesion to the cable surface.
Storage and Shelf Life
Under normal storage conditions (approximately 21°C in a dry environment), RCS-2220 Electrical Stress Control Tape has a shelf life of approximately five years when stored in its original packaging.
